Easter Eggs at Lavonne

I wouldn’t call myself religious even though I do believe in a greater force. But I love all festivals for the sole reason that it brings people together and there’s always a grand feast involved. The best part is that for each festival I get to indulge on some delectable dishes, learn about varied cultures, their food history and take home some precious recipes too.

Since it’s a long weekend, we have packed our schedule with names of patisseries and restaurants serving some exciting Easter treats, and even signed up for a fun baking class to learn some sinful recipes. In case you are in Bangalore and wondering what to do for Easter, try picking from the following:

Olive Beach

The pretty Mediterranean restaurant’s Easter Sunday Brunch is an elaborate affair. Our advise would be to go ready for a feast because you definitely don’t want to miss out on the Lamb Pan Rolls, Prawn and Calamari Pickle, Roast Leg of Lamb with baby potatoes and rosemary, Deviled Eggs, Garlic and Herb Roasted Chicken with jus, glazed carrots, green beans and brussel sprouts, Roasted Root Vegetable Casserole, Sweet Potato and Caramelized Onion Lyonnaise, or their sinful desserts such as Golden Carrot Walnut Cake, Hot Cross Buns, Assorted Easter cookies, Simnel Cake, Cinnamon Sticky Buns and Babka. They also have some interesting cocktails on offer: Frozen Cucumber, Olive Easter Martini, Orange Marmalade Martini, Olive Summer Mary, Easter Punch along with sparkling wine and sangria.
